​Artist Statement​

 

I create art as a way to make sense of what’s beautiful, broken, and possible in this world. I follow a deeply intuitive process, one that begins not with an image, but with a listening, each brushstroke a dialogue with the unknown.

My work lives at the edge of the mysterious and the emotional. Through bold colors, layered textures, and mystical images, I build portals that invite you to wonder again. Drawing inspiration from Marc Chagall, dream logic, and nature’s quiet intelligence, I use acrylics for their range and immediacy, applying them in thick, expressive layers or leave them to drip and wander across the canvas. Shapes, and figures emerge organically, becoming scenes that feel other worldly yet familiar, often blurring the line between the sacred and surreal. These images are meant to evoke awe, invite reflection, and offer a small rebellion against the ordinary.

There’s a sense of magic, but also reflection, tension, and story. At the heart of my work is a question: What if we could imagine something better?

In a time of overwhelm and collapse, I choose to create images that offer hope without bypassing truth. I paint not to escape reality, but to challenge it, to inspire you to see beyond what is, and to dream into what could be: a more just, compassionate and colorful world.

​My paintings don’t just hang on walls simply to decorate a space or to match your couch. Instead, they are meant to move you and to stir something awake that’s been dormant. They invite you into a slightly weirder, more joyful, and more wondrous version of the world. They ask you to use your imagination, to really feel, and to courageously lean into all that is possible.​
